Upset by the thousands of "Say No to War With Iraq" lawn signs that began popping up in Minneapolis (Minnesota, USA) last fall, retired Army lieutenant Joe Repya created a counter-sign that reads "Liberate Iraq -- Support Our Troops." (Those who oppose war support the Iraqi troops?)
The signs were all the rage at a "Support Our Troops" rally at the state capitol last Saturday, attended by Governor Tim Pawlenty and first term U.S. Senator Bush Boy.
Mr. Repya has parlayed his 15 minutes of fame into providing objective war analysis for KMSP Channel 9, a Twin Cites affiliate of ... you guessed it ... FOX. Towards the end of each 1-hour broadcast G.I. Joe moves toy tanks across a floor map of Iraq, in what looks more like an SNL skit than informed military analysis.
By the way, Joe says "we're" moving on Baghdad within the next 48 hours.
posted by dackIt does seem odd that the only way to support the troops is by liberating Iraq. (1)I thought that the troops were doing that , (2) what about the troops in the rest of the world, especially Afghanistan where we are still fighting the War on Terrorism. Is there such a thing as a "Support _Our_ Troops" sign, without supporting a particular conflict/war? Maybe a "United States of America! Support _Our_ Troops!"

This global structure puts in danger entire western civilization, targets and jeopardizes everything what western countries achieved for centuries. The primary goal of Arab fascists is completing Hitler’s objective and eliminating the State of Israel and Jews from the face of the Earth. The broader goal of the Arab fascism is eliminating the western civilization. In order to achieve this goal, Arabs infected every western country with terrorist cells, which are wings of the global Arab fascist structure. They are looking for opportunity to acquire weapon of mass destruction including nuclear weapon and they will not hesitate to use it against us. Currently, UN, Amnesty International, Kofi Annan personally, and European countries, support global Arab fascism. Do not forget that European countries supported Hitler in the 1930s, which cost the world over 50 million lives. European countries did not learn the WWII lessons and now they are under silent occupation by Arabs who try to reshape the European countries. For example, a radical Arab group in England demands establishing the Shariat Law in this country. Let us not repeat the 1930’s mistakes because with the weapons of mass destruction the number of casualties will be much higher. The WWII lessons show that we must be proactive, destroy and eliminate all these fascist groups preemptively by any means to avoid WWIII, nuclear attack, to save our countries, our and future generations.
