posted by dackI find this story far a more fascinating glimpse behind the media curtain, and a far more important one given the issue at hand, than affair d' Jayson.
It's interesting that Burns is torqued about the May 1 article, yet there's nothing (at least via Kurtz) on Miller's original debacle. I wonder if he signed off on the extraordinary agreement with Miller's handlers (or whether she went over his head), and how he felt about her subsequent grandstanding.
And Rosenthal's comments are priceless; he seems to imply that Chalabi is a confidential source, and then says "of course we talk to Chalabi."
